AlphaESS Launches AlphaQ and VitaPower 3600 AC in Benelux

AlphaESS is expanding its residential energy offerings in the Benelux region with the introduction of the AlphaQ energy management platform and the VitaPower 3600 AC home battery. This launch coincides with the first anniversary of AlphaESS Benelux BV and follows a period in which the company has secured a significant market share in the residential BESS market.
The AlphaQ platform is designed to provide homeowners with a single point of interaction for their energy system. It integrates energy insights, tariff-aware energy management, and service support. The Q Insight feature helps users understand their system's activities and anticipate future developments. For dynamic tariffs, AlphaQ's AI Mode forecasts electricity prices, solar generation, and household demand to optimize battery charging and discharging, with the energy plan updated every 15 minutes. On the service side, AlphaQ assists installers in diagnosing issues by utilizing fault logs and live system data, enabling quicker identification and resolution.
Alongside AlphaQ, AlphaESS is introducing the VitaPower 3600 AC, an all-in-one home battery. This system offers 4 to 16 kWh of modular storage capacity and 3.68 kW of bidirectional AC power. It enables homeowners to store and utilize more of their self-generated solar energy. The VitaPower 3600 AC can start as an 800 W plug-and-play setup and is easily upgradeable to its full 3.68 kW output. This system also incorporates an AI Mode that automatically optimizes charging and discharging based on energy prices, solar, and weather forecasts. Pre-orders for the VitaPower 3600 AC in the Netherlands commenced on September 22. AlphaESS is also adding a new plug-in battery to its residential portfolio in the region.
Jeff Noelmans, Managing Director of AlphaESS Netherlands, highlighted AlphaQ's role, stating that AI is used as "a concrete instrument to automatically deliver the best energy outcome for every customer." According to Mordor Intelligence’s Residential BESS Market Analysis 2026, AlphaESS held a 29.7% share of the Dutch residential BESS market and 19.5% in Belgium during the first half of 2026.
